CNC Turning
Precision CNC turning for demanding applications — tolerances down to 0.003mm and roughness to Ra 0.1 across a broad range of materials.
Precision you can rely on
JF Precision provides precision CNC turning from its Shenzhen facility with dimensional tolerances to ±0.003mm and surface roughness to Ra 0.1. Standard turning delivers ISO 2768-mK compliance, ±0.03mm dimensional tolerance, and Ra 0.8 surface roughness. High-precision turning achieves ±0.003mm with Grade 5 fit tolerance. Fit grades 5, 6, and 7 are controlled reliably across production quantities. Surface roughness of Ra 0.4 is achievable across the full part at no additional cost compared to standard Ra 3.2 requirements. Materials include aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, brass, copper, Inconel, PEEK, POM, PTFE, nylon, and HDPE. All threads are verified with go/no-go gauges before shipment. Controlled deformation of bored holes is managed through natural heat treatment and aging. Trial assembly and dimensional verification are performed on every order before dispatch. Quote in 2–6 hours. MOQ: 1 piece. See what we produce as custom CNC turned parts.
Fit tolerance: Grade 5, Grade 6, and Grade 7 tolerances controlled reliably and consistently.
Surface roughness: Ra 0.4 achievable across the full part by turning - at no additional cost compared to standard Ra 3.2 requirements.
Hole structure: Controlled deformation of bored holes through natural heat treatment and aging.
Thread machining: Experienced with a wide range of special pipe thread standards and custom thread profiles.
What tolerances does JF Precision achieve in CNC turning?
What we deliver by default versus what we can achieve on request:
| Parameter | Standard | High Precision |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensional Tolerance | ±0.03mm | ±0.003mm |
| Surface Roughness | Ra 0.8 | Ra 0.1 |
| Default Standard | ISO 2768-mK | Per drawing |
| Fit Grade | Grade 7 | Grade 5 |
What materials can you turn?
We machine metals and engineering plastics to the same tight tolerance standards. See our full available materials list or contact us to confirm feasibility.
What quantities and complexity levels do you handle?
We match orders to the right process regardless of quantity or material. Parts are trial-assembled before shipment, and we provide technology support for challenging specifications.
Single prototypes through to production batches — same quality standards apply
Mixed-material orders: metal and plastic parts produced and assembled in-house
Custom tool design and manufacturing for non-standard features
Trial assembly and dimensional verification before every shipment
Can you machine complex threads?
We have extensive experience with special pipe threads, fine-pitch threads, and custom profiles that require non-standard tooling or multi-pass strategies.
Standard and non-standard pipe thread profiles
All threads verified with go/no-go gauges before shipment
Custom tool design where standard tooling cannot achieve the profile
